So we eliminated her dark cabinets and added quartz countertops with full height backsplash to make the kitchen both elegant and practical. In this excellent kitchen remodel, we were to improve the flow of the space. The peninsula closed off the kitchen to guests when they were entertaining. We decided to get rid of the peninsula, add a huge island to replace the small one, and open up the wall from the kitchen to the family room.

First we created a focal point wall by relocating the range and adorning it with a stainless steel hood flanked by glass wall cabinets. We added a more contemporary door style in Natural Maple to open up the space and visually create a larger area.
