4th Annual Home and Party Showcase at the Seigle’s Mundelein Location!

The Fourth annual Home and Party Showcase will take place at the Schwake Stone Home Design Center, 1440 Townline Road (Rte. 60) in Mundelein, on Saturday, Jan. 22 and Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is free. The newly completed design center has a new stone monument sign on the front lawn, which will be unveiled during the showcase.

Schwake has one of the largest selections of building and landscape stone in the Chicago area, and the design center features fireplaces, outdoor kitchen, marble and granite, in-ground pool and waterfall. Additionally, this 26,000 sq ft design center features established businesses including Barrington Pools, Aronson Fence Company, Inc., Olson Windows, Doors and Siding and Seigle’s Cabinet Center, the largest distributor of cabinetry in Chicagoland.

At the Home and Party Showcase, local home- and party-related businesses share space in the design center. These local experts will be on hand to meet with visitors and discuss everything from home remodeling services to planning the perfect event. Chicago’s top furniture and interior designers, and eco-friendly experts will be available to speak with consumers about lifestyle changes both in the home and for personal well being.

Since many consumers enjoy entertaining at home, the showcase includes the best list of party- and event-related businesses. Home related exhibitors will include Autre Design and Custom Design Products – custom woodwork; Divine Design ™, Interiors for Your Lifestyle Inc. “The One-Day home Makeover” as featured on CBS news; Glass Design Studio – glass art; Green Living Designs – green construction; Sleep Number/Select Comfort Corp. – beds; ClosetWorks – custom closets; The Care of Trees – tree services; Ed Anderson Roofing – roofing; Luxury Bath of Chicagoland – baths; Barrington Pools – pools, spa and water features; Dijis Home Tech Solutions – home automation. Party and Event businesses include Arlington Rental – tents, chairs, table, linens, etc.;Caricatures by Marc Bermann; Jonathan’s Portraits; and On Occasion Catering.

The Showcase will include a raffle and event planner, Candice Kuhnen from ABC Communications, has collected 10 gift certificates, valued at $100 and more, from each of the participating businesses and will mail them to winners. Power Partnering™ networking will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, and Kuhnen welcomes those who have a home or party business but are not participating in the showcase to participate; call 847-835-0126 to register.
