Before and After: Brightening Kitchen Remodel in Northbrook, IL

We recently completed a beautiful kitchen remodel in Northbrook, IL. The owner wanted to freshen and brighten up her kitchen, and to add organization and function to suit her lifestyle. So we eliminated the soffits and took the cabinets up to the ceiling, centered the sink under the window, relocated the refrigerator and cooktop, and replaced the pantry closet with additional cabinetry.  

In addition to making the kitchen more functional, we spent a lot of time accessorizing the inside of the cabinets to optimize the organization—adding roll trays, deep drawers, spice racks, pull-out pantries, cutlery dividers, tray dividers above the double oven, and so much more. As we designed, every cabinet was carefully considered by the homeowner to determine what was going to go into it—our goal was, as the saying goes, a place for everything and everything in its place.
