Before and After: Check Out This Incredible Kitchen Remodel in Elgin

We recently completed a gorgeous kitchen remodel in Elgin. The homeowners wanted an open kitchen with a large working island. We took down a wall to open up the room, and this also gave us room for a large island. Some of the more unusual features we included are the 6” deep closet with broom clip, a portable cleaning caddy under the sink, a cabinet mat under the sink to catch spills, an open shelf for cookbooks, and a message center. The outlet covers on the island bases even match the cabinets. The wood hood is a beautiful focal point, and the homeowner loves the unique wood hood shelf.

We used Diamond Cabinets in Shiloh using knotty alder. Knotty alder is gaining in popularity as it has character and interest.

The countertop, back splash, and outlet covers are all Corian in Saffron pattern. This kitchen will be so easy to clean up. No grout in the back splash to clean!
