Before and After: Check Out This Influencer’s Incredible Kitchen Remodel

We recently completed a totally stunning remodel that is definitely worthy of the gram—no really, the homeowner/designer is a lifestyle and fashion influencer with a huge following. We are so proud that she and her general contractor chose Seigle’s for their cabinet needs in this amazing project.

The owner wanted to update her late 80s kitchen, which was heavy on oak and had a lot of layout issues that made it feel “closed in.” To update the look and fix the space, the kitchen remodel included:

• Eliminating an awkwardly placed walk-in pantry
• Adding a 9’ island
• Updated appliances that fit in just the right space
• Eliminating a desk for a more open feel
• Adding a bar area with a wine fridge, including lots of wine accessories in the cabinets

Tess had a true vision for what she wanted to achieve, and we are so glad that she is now happy with her dream kitchen! We love this paragraph in her blog post about the remodel:

“If I say I spent hours. upon hours. upon hours configuring our cabinet layout with the cabinet company, it might be an understatement. Listen, that sounds crazy, I’m sure. But when you’ve been mentally planning your ideal kitchen for about a decade and finally have the spot for it but need to figure out how to lay it out and which way a door should be hung or if something should be a drawer or a cabinet or a drawer in a cabinet, it doesn’t seem quite as crazy. I won’t bore you with all of those details, other than to say that I finally have a pullout cabinet for spices next to the stove and have everything else organized in the way I’ve always hoped to.”
