Before and After: Dramatic Kitchen Remodel in Downers Grove

We recently completed a stunning kitchen remodel in Downers Grove. The owner wanted to increase the space and functionality and give their kitchen a fresh, modern update from the dated cabinets that came with the home. So we knocked down the wall between the kitchen and dining room and extended the kitchen into both spaces. We removed the soffits to increase cabinet space as well. The bold, blue color was exactly what they were looking for to change it up from the old white cabinets.

The owners love the new huge island with ample storage space and plenty of room for gathering. It’s so big that we added another wastebasket cabinet on the backside of the island for easy access near the fridge and dining area.
