Before and After: Outdated Kitchen Gets Major Makeover in Elgin

We recently completed a stunning kitchen remodel in Elgin, Illinois. This kitchen was original from the 1920s, so it is safe to say it was definitely time for an update! They really wanted to modernize the kitchen while still keeping true to the feeling of the home. So we used a nice soft gray cabinet to give it that modern look while still trying to keep the integrity of the 1920s style.

The original kitchen included a 48” radiator underneath the sink that presented a challenge to work around. We were able to reduce the size of it and use mesh on the doors so it could continue to radiate the heat from inside the cabinet.
