We recently completed an incredible kitchen remodel in St. Charles. The homeowners wanted a kitchen remodel to improve the flow of the space. The peninsula closed off the kitchen to guests when they were entertaining. We decided to get rid of the peninsula, add a huge island to replace the small one, and open up the wall from the kitchen to the family room. These changes allow the hosts to visit with the guests while food is prepared.
For aesthetics, we included a wood hood over the commercial range and glass around the sink area—two beautiful focal points. The cabinets include decorative end panels, glass doors, roll-out shelves, tray dividers, and a base micro cabinet, which is very popular.
