Before and After: Stunning Kitchen Remodel in Park Ridge

We recently completed a fabulous kitchen remodel in Park Ridge, Illinois. The owner wanted an updated more contemporary look, to have a better flow to the kitchen, and to increase the island to be able to use it for their everyday eating area.

The Kitchen has a unique layout in that the perimeter is split into four areas due to doorway locations and a corner that bumps into the kitchen, so we made the best use of each of the four wall areas splitting them by function. One wall is now storage with two nice pantries, another wall is now cooking and baking, the third wall is refrigeration and a dry bar, and the fourth wall is now a butler’s pantry and the focal wall behind the island.    

By expanding the island we were able to add a significant amount of storage, allow the family a comfortable space for everyday eating and doing homework, and pull the casual living space together.
