We recently completed an incredible kitchen remodel in West Dundee, Illinois. The owners wanted to have more space to spread out for cookie baking and decorating and to eliminate the bottle neck the peninsula created. They also wanted to make the space more inviting when entertaining. And they wanted to be sure there would be plenty of storage without losing any with the design. They wanted the whole thing to coordinate with the contemporary design, colors, and clean lines of their magnificent home.
So we removed the peninsula, took out part of the wall, and opened up the space into the sunroom. We created a beverage center and included a nice sized island with pull up mixer shelf and big drawers for storage of baking supplies. We chose very contemporary materials and all of the appliances have a flush inset installation, giving the kitchen a very clean contemporary design.
