We recently completed a stunning remodel in Western Springs. The owner wanted to rejuvenate their dated kitchen. In order to improve function and mobility and to create a more natural flow, we removed the peninsula, which allowed space for an island. We amped up storage space by eliminating the soffits and installing 36″ wall cabinets with a two-piece crown that extends to the ceiling. Deep drawers and pull-out roll trays make storage versatile and easily accessible.
The new white painted cabinets contribute to the overall feeling of brightness and added space. Decorative panels on the exposed ends of wall and base cabinets are the perfect finishing touch. The result is a lovely kitchen that is both aesthetically pleasing and an incredible place to cook.
