When the homeowners took possession of this charming home in Libertyville, they knew they would need to renovate the kitchen to accommodate their busy lifestyle. With an active family and a love for cooking and entertaining, the current space was not adequate.
Designer Tracey Paulson in our Mundelein Showroom listened and shared their vision and was able to achieve their aims by incorporating elements of functional design as well as beautiful finishes and textures. Paulson created the space with multitask areas. The pantry wall now also doubles as a buffet area for entertaining. The island provides space for preparation, eating, and multi-use for social gatherings. Other notable features are the beautiful wood hood, use of decorative moldings, and ample storage features.
The combination of Diamond’s Shiloh Maple Cloud cabinetry, Carrera marble countertops, and backsplash, wood flooring, and an accent of brass hardware resulted in a space with casual elegance.
