One of the most exciting parts of remodeling a kitchen is picking out a unique, creative feature. Often, this feature will be memorable and will be the talking point when you are giving friends and family a first tour, showing off what you’ve done. It also usually is extremely smart and functional, changing how you use your new space.

When asked how long he’s been recommending this feature, our resident funny guy, Design Consultant George Tolon, said, “Since about 200 B.C.” And then in all seriousness, he described why. “Working in a kitchen both with roll trays and without roll trays, you immediately experience the ease with which the contents of the base cabinets are accessed.”

Because it has so many obvious benefits to all customers, base cabinet roll trays are offered by all Seigle’s brands of cabinets. “It gives you easy access and visibility to the contents, and it is physically easier to get at the contents,” said George.

The approximate cost to add this feature is $50-$100 per cabinet. Seigle’s also offers roll outs designed for pots and pans, as well as blind cabinet shelf roll outs.
