Customer Spotlight: Learn More about Castle Creek Homes

We recently spoke with Kevin Saurer, Vice President of Kennedy Signature Homes (formerly known as Castle Creek Homes). Our relationship with Kennedy dates back more than 30 years.

We sat down with Kevin to get a rundown of the company, their work, and to feature our latest project together.

Tell us more about Kennedy Signature Homes:
Kennedy Signature Homes (Castle Creek Homes) was founded in 2008 by the former principle owners of Kennedy Homes and Armor Homes. Kennedy Signature Home’s inception represented the re-birth of a company that is heavily steeped with tradition and excellence in homebuilding in Chicago. Kennedy Signature Homes is currently focused on building semi-custom homes in highly desirable, infill suburban markets. Our production rate necessitates a small, but highly experienced core of 9 employees.

What is your role at the company?
I oversee the production elements of homebuilding including construction, purchasing, and service along with product development.

What are your current projects with Seigle’s?
Current projects include two-story semi-custom homes in Wauconda, Barrington, and Hawthorn Woods. With a range from 3,200 to almost 5,000 square feet, all of these homes are a value in the market priced from the upper $500’s. All interior cabinetry and countertops are supplied by Seigle’s from the Aristokraft line. We were one of the first builders’ in Chicago to debut the new Maple Flagstone cabinetry with mirrored panel upper cabinets that maximize the abundance of natural sunlight on a home’s Southern exposure.

Along with featuring a the latest release in Aristokrafts’ color line, the houses also showcase built-in, furniture-grade bookcases, butler’s pantries, and mudroom cabinetry. Each house has a custom designed kitchen island that utilizes Seigle’s solid surface countertops. Whether it is granite or Cambria, the generous 8 and 9 foot island tops provide a functional showpiece for each house where homeowners can entertain family, friends, clients and guests alike.

Though Kennedy Signature Homes is a new entity in the market, our relationship with Mark Seigle and Sally Gange dates back more than 3 decades. A large part of why we have such a dedicated and loyal relationship with Seigle’s is the personal relationships that we have built and maintained with Mark and Sally throughout our history in Chicago. Whether we were building 300 production homes or 3 custom homes, our staff and customers have always been treated with a sense of priority, respect, and integrity by everyone at Seigle’s .
