Got Robot Students Wow Seigle’s on Visit to Learn about CAD

Seigle’s recently had the pleasure of hosting students who are involved with Got Robot?, a First Tech Challenge Robotics Team based in Elgin, IL. The team’s mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders—and 10 years into the program it is clear that it is working! The team has made it to the world championships 3 times in the last 5 years.

During the meeting, Seigle’s President Mark Seigle got the chance to see a robot demonstration and hear about the challenges and joys of building robots and competing, learn about their design process, and to ask questions of these bright and impressive students. Seigle’s also had the chance to show the students how CAD is used in designing cabinetry and new kitchens.
