What is your favorite thing about working at Seigles?
I enjoy the chance to connect with my clients on a more personal level than I could in the warehouse home center environment. That and the family-like atmosphere of the company.
What is your favorite project you’ve worked on and why?
My favorite project that I’ve worked on so far was a large, two-toned kitchen in an offshore/gray-stain finish with countertops that contrasted the cabinets. This wasn’t my biggest job, but it was definitely my favorite.
What is your favorite option in today’s kitchens?
Base pull-outs. You can get so many different storage options from them.
What’s the worst design trend you’ve encountered?
I love seeing those old oak cabinets go down. They’re just so boring.
If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?
I would probably make my Philly cheesesteak lettuce wraps—healthy but delicious.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Bacon Cheeseburgers. I don’t have them too often, since they’re pretty bad for you, but they are delicious.
What is the most thrilling thing you’ve ever done?
It would probably be going to see my favorite band in concert and getting up toward the front of the crowd.
What is your favorite room in your house?
My living room. It’s where all my guitars are.
If you had a 25 hour day while everyone else has only 24, what would you do with your extra time?
Spend more time with my two little girls. I always feel like there isn’t enough time to spend with them.
What is the top item on your bucket list?
To travel to Europe. I love history and learning about the past. I think it would be great to be able to visit the places I love to learn about.
