Purestyle Vs. Paint: What are the benefits?

When people are remodeling their kitchens, many prefer the stylish, clean look of painted cabinets vs. a natural wood. However, even on new cabinets, a painted finish will evidence normal movement due to changes in climatic conditions. This will cause hairline cracks at the stile, rail, and panel joints. Over time, there may be a slight color shift in the paint finish due to the continued exposure to natural and artificial light sources. Now, though, a new product has been introduced that offers the painted-cabinet look, but without these concerns: Purestyle.

Purestyle

Purestyle cabinets offer the durability of laminate with the beauty of paint. Purestyle is environmentally friendly—it’s cellulose-based and contains no toxic substances. The substrates are Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), made from wood that comes from forests with eco-sustainable systems. It is currently offered by two cabinet brands featured at Seigle’s: Aristokraft and Diamond.
