At Seigle’s Sims-Lohman, our team cares about building healthy communities and supporting organizations that do their part to improve people’s lives. That’s why we love to give back—and when we can do this as a team, it brings us together. We recently ran a donation drive as our first quarter team project to gather essential supplies for PADS of Elgin. We filled and delivered an entire truck of supplies!
PADS of Elgin offers shelter, meals, and support services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Their goal is to help guests transition to more stable living situations. Last year they served over 50,000 meals and provided 16,425 nights of shelter.
Supply drives are important to keep the PADS shelter stocked, and allow them to allocate resources toward essential programs and services for their guests. They have a specific list of items that they are able to accept and put to use. See their current needs list and learn more.
The team’s donations were collected at our Quarter One meeting, and team members were rewarded with prizes for their generosity! We love to come together for the community.
