Over the years, cabinet designers have become brilliant at finding space wherever it can be found. Corners offer a wealth of options to use the space without losing it in an unreachable abyss. Gone is the kitchen soffit, or “bulkhead,” that unsightly portion of the ceiling built lower to extend down to the cabinets. And when possible, the few inches of space that you normally lose to the baseboard below the cabinets can be transformed into a handy drawer! But what to do with this wide and short space?
