Customer Spotlight: You’ll Love These Kitchens by M5 Chicago

We recently spoke with Robert Meltzer, President of M5 Chicago. We’ve been doing business with M5 Chicago since before we opened our Chicago showroom. In fact, M5 Builders built that showroom for us!

M5 Chicago works with clients in Chicago to help them transform their homes. They do everything from kitchen and bath renovations to whole home gut transformations to structural analysis and repairs. As the president of M5 Chicago, Robert loves his job. “I stay involved with every aspect of every job. I really enjoy working with clients to help them in the planning and design stages before we start the actual work,” said Robert.

We recently worked with M5 Chicago on a kitchen renovation using the Elmwood cabinet line in a Streeterville high rise condominium. The entire project cost about $75,000. M5 completely gutted the kitchen down to the concrete floor and ceiling. They removed hardwood floor in the kitchen and replaced it with a very contemporary looking large size porcelain tile floor. Steve from the Chicago Seigle’s showroom worked with the owners to design a new kitchen layout incorporating a very large center island with seating. The cabinets are frameless and have a high impact mdf woodgrain pattern. Steve incorporated two large pantry cabinets next to a double oven cabinet to provide the owners with plenty of storage.

We’re now working M5 Chicago to build out a kitchen in a 130 year old Lincoln Park home with owners who want a traditional look. They’re using painted wood cabinets from Dura Supreme.

“There are three great things about working with Seigle’s,” said Robert. “First, they have an outstanding team of designers. Every project is only as good as the initial design.
