We are especially proud of the dramatic transformation of this Geneva kitchen remodel. The owners wanted a more functional kitchen with a mid-century modern feel to go along with their 1950s-style ranch home. They love to entertain and needed a space that was practical but looked sleek. They wanted to incorporate modern materials such as high gloss finishes but keep the simplicity and clean lines of a mid-century home.
So we opened up some wall spaces to improve the kitchen flow and added a nice island which could be used for both prep space and a hang out space while entertaining. The washer and dryer was relocated into the kitchen area in order to create a new built-in pantry and provide added convenience not having to chase to the basement.
The kitchen includes:
A beautiful high gloss wood grain built-in, which provides function as well as serves as a feature piece for the kitchen.
Unique metal frame doors with glass inserts to add texture.
A wall message organizer located within a wall cabinet and hidden by doors to provide the family with some extra organization without taking away from the clean lines of the space.
