Before and After: Plainfield Kitchen Gets a Gorgeous Upgrade

We recently took part in a beautiful kitchen remodel in Plainfield with the talented CT Builders, who were the general contractors and completed all the renovations. The owner wanted to give their space a complete update to bring it out of the early 2000s into 2024.   

As part of the remodel, the tray ceiling feature and wood flooring inlay were removed to create one even ceiling and a consistent flooring throughout the space. We used 48” upper wall cabinets with a beautiful, stacked crown molding to expand the cabinetry upwards and provide extra storage. The kitchen features a large center island with extra drawer storage and a built-in microwave drawer. 

The clients upgraded their appliances to professional models. A large 48” wide professional range top provides extra cooking surface for the family without sacrificing storage below. The 30” wide fridge and freezer are paneled for a built-in look that blends right in with the kitchen. Large pantry cabinets with pull out shelving provide accessible storage. Around the corner from the kitchen, we also updated a small bar area incorporating floating shelves to pull in the color of the island and a beverage fridge for convenience when entertaining.
