Sometimes our designers love what is interesting or quirky—perfectly suited for the client’s wishes. And sometimes they love features that are universally loved—must-haves that are needed in every new kitchen. Today, designer Steve Frye wanted to feature his favorite feature: Coffee Pod Storage Drawers!

“Coffee is a very personal choice and in today’s world where we have options, K-cups and T- Cups allow us to have our preferred beverage fresh brewed when we want it. With this cabinet component, just by opening a drawer everything is laid out for easy viewing and access,” said Frye.

“There are other coffee pod drawers on the market but they are usually designed to be placed under the coffee maker,” said Frye. “This makes refilling a challenge. There are also components designed to sit beside the machine taking up valuable countertop space and adding to the general clutter of the kitchen.”

So what are the most obvious benefits for K-cup lovers? “The coffee pod drawer is completely contained in a drawer. It is a Bamboo insert designed to be placed in a wood dovetail drawer and pulled out for easy cleaning,” said Frye. “It’s essential and convenient for any kitchen or wet bar of people who use K-Cups or T-Cups.
