Customer Spotlight: Learn about the Good Work of QCI’s Disaster Restoration

We recently spoke with Michael Pleticha, Purchasing and Showroom Manager at QCI Restoration, who we’ve been doing business with for around 6 years.

Most of the time, when someone is remodeling a kitchen it is a happy experience—they have recently purchased a new home and are ready to make it their own, or they are in the business of flipping houses, or this is a long-time dream come true. But sometimes a disaster has happened—a fire or a flood or any number of things, and a remodel is necessary for a home to be livable again. This situation is where QCI Restoration typically comes in. QCI is the second largest restoration company in the country. They specialize in insurance-related restoration work after a disaster.

Most recently, we are working with QCI on a restoration after a large house fire in Bartlett, Illinois. The customer came to our Elgin showroom to make selections and chose Decora and Diamond cabinets in oak and maple for the kitchen and bathrooms. They had the happy experience of choosing cabinetry features they would like in their new kitchen, including a cabinet hood vent, glass doors, pull out accessories, decorative crown moulding, and more.

When we asked Pleticha why he chooses to work with Seigle’s, he said, “Products are good quality along with helpful sales people and a nice showroom. And lead time on products seems to be shorter than most.”
