What is your favorite thing about working at Seigles?
I love the family owned roots of the company. The compassion and care that is instilled in the company shines through on all levels of management, making Seigle’s a wonderful place to work.
What is your favorite project you’ve worked on and why?
I truly enjoy every project. Being able to see a design materialize from start to finish is very rewarding.
What is your favorite option in today’s kitchens?
The base pantry pull-out cabinet. This cabinet makes reaching all of your go-to spices and oils very easy.
Over your many years in the business, what’s the worst design trend you’ve encountered?
Spindle crown rail moulding…yuck!
If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?
To start off the meal we would have strawberry and almond spinach salad with homemade poppy seed dressing, followed by rosemary garlic crusted beef tenderloin accompanied with herb roasted vegetables, and to finish off the meal some coffee and crème brulee.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Watching a Netflix original series with my husband.
What is the most thrilling thing you have ever done?
Walking through Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. Standing in the settings for some of his most famous paintings was amazing.
What is your favorite room in the house?
I love cooking, so naturally the kitchen.
If you had a 25-hour day while everyone else has 24, what would you do with the time?
Spending the extra time tucking my kids into bed. This is one of my favorite times of the day. We read stories, sing, connect, share our day, and, of course, snuggle!
What is the top item on your bucket list?
To walk alongside the great wall in Beijing, China.
